We went to Moraine State Park again this week. It was a nice day...not too chilly a little bit of wind and was slightly overcast...with a few raindrops here and there. Again we caught lots of blue gills and perch. With a small bass and nice size catfish to round out the day!

We can't wait for a few more weeks...our vacation...we will be doing a lot of fishing...I hope!!

We have been waiting all winter for this time of year! We finally get to spend some time outside fishing! It is still chilly outside...and we don't get a lot of bites....but we still have a good time. We both caught some small sized perch and a good bit of blue gills. Not bad for our second outing of the year!

It was cold...........Windy......Did I say COLD!! 31*F.. The fish were biting, we lost a few before we got them in, But landed these two nice Brown Trouts a 14 in. and a 11 in. A very nice start of the fishing season if i say so myself..

Newest Member!!!

Meet the newest member of the Zombeck household!

Her name is Cricket.

She was a stray kitty...and she loves her new home! She was skinny and sick when we took her in...now she is chubby and healthy! These are some of the first pictures we took of her. I like the last one best...she looks like she is smiling!

And this picture was taken at Reptileland in May. I just like the colors of the butterfly and the flowers!

ANIMALS

This topic was too easy...we have lots of "animal" pictures.

(Of course none taken this week.)

First picture is of Chilly...she is a chinchilla...she doesn't like to be held but she lets me pet her and her fur is super soft. And you can see she is getting a little chunky. (she likes her treats!)

The next picture is of my Carlow. He also doesn't like to be held...and he is a bit of a biter.... but sometimes he can be so cute!

The last picture was taken at Living Treasures a few years back... I just thought it was cute.

I dont get flowers very often but when I do it makes me smile. Every once in a while Sams Club has a good deal on roses.

The last two pictures are of a cactus I got at the Farmers Market. I liked it because it has pretty flowers on it.

"Project Of The Week"

Made a hot bed or a mini green house to start plants for the growing season.We recycled a old screen door for the lid. It is about 4 foot x 2 ft.

We made Carlow a "Kitty Tree". It started out being very basic...but you know guys...More is better!!

I bribed J.J. and Keith with ice cream to come over and then put them to work. He He He

"CIRCLES"

The first picture is the inside of a wine bottle. I put a flashlight on the bottom of the bottle and took it through the neck. I thought it looked cool!

The second picture is a snowman... he has many circles....head, body, eyes, and hat!! Its hard to see the hat because its black and it was dark outside. : )
