On Sunday John and I decided to take a road trip. We pack sandwiches and snacks and some drinks. Then we headed out for Bennezette. We decided to stop in Cooks Forest to waste some time on our way. Here is a picture taken from the top of the Fire Tower. Its kinda cool... we were above the trees!!!
Then we drove to Bennezette. Here we are at one of the many Elk look outs. We didnt see alot of elk on this trip but the ones we did see made it worth it. This elk is not the biggest we saw but it was the best picture... sorry about the tree in front of him.

Rene'e and I were just talking about heading to Benezette. We are planning a trip for October. Funny you should be thinking about it too. Must be that time of year.
